About the Wyoming Community Foundation

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) founded in 2014 as the Wyoming Recreation Foundation as a means for the City to receive charitable community contributions from individuals, families, and businesses. In 2020, the organization grew into the Wyoming Community Foundation with a focused vision for fostering Wyoming’s sense of neighborhood charm through capital improvements and programming.

The Foundation works alongside the City with an eye toward fulfilling Wyoming’s Master Plan and is oriented toward civic-minded capital improvements and programming. While city revenue is often dedicated to necessary infrastructure maintenance, we are able to supplement them through powerful and trusted community giving to enhance what residents love most about Wyoming.

We do this with guidance from City staff and council, along with input of residents, so that the Foundation can make strategic, well-informed investments that contribute to our City. Together, we seek to cultivate an accessible, sustainable hometown where everyone can thrive.
