While much of the City of Wyoming’s revenue is invested in infrastructure and operations, WCF works to ensure there is space for community and play. In partnership with the City and members of our community, WCF has:
Secured over $228,000 in donations for Crescent Park’s accessible playground, a space that allows people of all abilities and ages to play together in Wyoming.
Raised over $664,000 for the newly renovated Wyoming Village Green, which has come to life with an accessible performance pavilion, seating area to enjoy fare from local businesses, and environmentally-minded landscaping.
Accepted over $150,000 in donations for public safety updates in Wyoming, from firetruck refurbishments to police department outreach and equipment.
Funded public arts programming like Playhouse in the Park in the new Village Green.
Supported the Wyoming Exotic Wheels car show’s fundraising for The Cure Starts Now.
Invested in our urban forest space through the planting and care of an important part of Wyoming infrastructure: trees and greenspaces.
Offered support for Wyoming small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a youth-driven Wyoming Kindness Connection to bring friendship and relief to our neighbors during that difficult period of isolation and financial struggle.
