Performance Pavilion + Park Renovations
The $1.6 million performance pavilion and park renovation has transformed the Village Green into a thriving community gathering space in the heart of Wyoming and geographic center of the Mill Creek Valley. With an accessible pavilion, hardscaping, and open green space, the City is able to host beloved traditional events as well as new ones.
Our Project
A public design contest hosted in 2019 inspired the vision for the Village Green Pavilion and Park Renovations. In 2021, the City of Wyoming partnered with the Kleinger Group and Champlin Architects to fully develop concept and designs. The pavilion itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a memorial garden, and is accessible to accommodate people of all abilities.
The project was completed in 2024 as a collaboration between the City and the Wyoming Community Foundation. Almost 60% of the project cost was funded through grants and donations, including over $600k in private donations. That is to say, the generosity of the community was the determining factor into breathing new life into this beloved space.
